As I lay down next to the pool I realized that I was not alone. After looking around me I realized it was not a human but a wolf, the coat was white and sleek and shiny. I was about to pounce, when the creature spoke. do not be afraid as I mean no harm. the figure moved up and down as I realized that this was an image in my head.
please stop haunting me.Balor found herself crying. She took her mothers image as a shock. You would think that she was a scared little girl but she was not and she did not like to be known as this, but as you lay by a pool and see the mother of your life in front of you might just be scared.
With a quick howl of depression she called to her alpha. JET. Please stay with me she howled to him, to the night sky to the one she thought she might learn to love. TO Jet the owner of her pack…....
She thought of a little story line that she got from her mum it was the only bit she could rememberd but she had alterd it very much It was about a girl and a unicorn flying with each other......
Hoofbeats could be heard loud and clear. However, it was not coming from one hoofed creature but a whole herd of it. It was a herd of Shadow unicorns who were galloping at a fast speed.
"Hurry, Sunchaser! Hurry! They're gaining on us!!"
Arianna said, anxiously. Sunchaser replied in her mind,
"I know but I'm goin very fast already! But hold on tight, I'm increasing my speed. Careful, Arianna."
Arianna nodded in reply. She knew that her weight was slowing Chase but she had no choice since she, on her two legs, could never outrun those Shadow unicorns. She wanted to help Chase and the whole realm of Balinor and keeping as still as possible on Chase's back is what she could do. She whispered to Chase using her mind,
"Chase, I'm so sorry. I shouldn't just run off to the Shifter's land and letting everyone worry for me and even you alone to come after me, making you vulnerable to the Shifter and his minions. I'm so wilful and immature but I promise not to make the same mistake again."
Arianna's eyes welled up and a teardrop escaped from her eyes and onto Sunchaser's neck. The lord of all creatures comforted her using his words in her mind,
"Don't worry. There's no use crying over spilt milk and I don't even regret coming after you. You've been with me for such a long time, I won't bear the thought of you leaving me one minute and if I get caught by any of those dark creatures..."
he was interupted by Arianna,
" Don't talk like that! You'll never get caught! No one can catch the great lord of all creatures.. no one!" another teardrop came tricklind down her cheek. Sunchaser replied kindly,
"I was just saying 'if' but you're right. I shouldn't be cursing myself at this point in time. But I'll think of a very foolproof plan to escape if anything happens"
Arianna didn't reply. She didn't want Chase to keep talking to her which may distract him and make him move slower.
Suddenly, a ray of very bright light shone from the sky. It was Atlanta and Numinor leading a huge herd of celestial unicorns, which outnumbered the Shadow unicorns. Atlanta said to Sunchaser,
"Run as fast as you can and take Arianna away quickly while we stall this herd of Shadow unicorns. We may not hold on that long since they will call for back-up very soon.Take care and good luck!"
Sunchaser nodded and whispered a short message to Atlanta,
"Thank you, Atlanta. I don't know how or when I'll repay you, Numinor and your whole herd but I promise I'll repay you all back someday.
With that, the young stallion galloped off and continued on his way to bring Arianna to a safe place, where the Shifter or his Shadow unicorns can find.
A long howl pierced the night sky, a sound filled with terror. It was balanor, calling for him, for his help. He left the river where he had been sleeping, and leaped into he air, transforming into an eagle as he did, his powers over the element fire allowing him to do this. he flew straight to the glade, the glade where the pool appeared on nights of the full moon. he landed in the glade, and transformed back into his sleek black shape. He searched the banks and saw the Fae on the other side, alone in the darkness, alone in the world. he raced round the bank, his paws leaving deep prints in the soil. he stopped by the Fae, lay down next to her. I am here he whispered.
Whith the touch of him next to her she felt safer, calmer and hepless. She had seen her mum who was haunting her all the time. SHe had learnt to fight it but it stayed longer tonight and it was ruining her thoughts. Thank you. she sayd back to him as he came to comfert(sp?) her. My mam came to hurt me once again. she said it was stupid but she wanted to get this passes off her back to keep her safe.
I keep seeing her everynight when the moon is at its highest. she said to him. Talking to him was nice calm, relaxing and she loved it because he listened. She did keep coming and haunting her. Please stay with me she prayed in her head. She wanted her mum with her but not haunting her. Like the same with Jet but she wanted him to stay and keep her calm.
He sensed her uneasiness, the fact that she was scared. He tried to sooth her, making calming sounds, singing to her in the old language. he realized then that she had said that her mother had come to haunt her. her mother was dead. he said to her Why are you scared of your own mother? she bought u into this world, protected you. she is nothing to be afraid off, she is a lingering spirit, a guide to you. You must let her in to your heart, or else she will simply disappear. she is your spirit guide, a visible part of your soul. you must always remember, and never forget. the dead are all ways with us, they will never leave us, just disappear, and the dead can never hurt you. it is the living you should fear...

She didn't know how to react when a flash back came and went yet again, she had had restless nights and they where coming back again. I do not know how to face them anymore as i some how feel like it is my fault of there death. she said matter of factly to him. She thought he would understand but obviously not. Still ashe kept her head up and then stood. She slowly made her way to the pool and gave it a little lip with her toungue. (sp?) She was uncirten to wheather he was watching or not but once she was hapy with her drink she moved back next to him.
How did you feel when your mam died? she asked him just out of curiosity. That was her full of investigation. Always looking for mischieve.

I was devastated. he replied. I thought my life was ending, not longer worth living. i ran away, and i eneded up here. But it was here i realized she wasnttruly dead. she had just joined mother nature, and thta she would always be with me, in my heart. Just remeber dear balor, thier death is never your fault, it is just a cruel and sad twist of fate, that no one can control. And your family is always with you forever. He sat and waited for her reply.

she turned sharply on him. i know about her i know that you never ment anythink you said to me. All you said about ben a good friend ect was just a lie you always liked her more and you never ever cared for me. with this she turned away and wlaked off a little not letting him see her deep wond that was growing on her hat was hurting her as she relised he would never see it her way. he was leaving her for another fea. She let it passs he would have mloved to be his but obviously not as he was not going to feel the same. She would have to get used to it as he was not going to accept her as alpha.

Balor? what is wrong? he asked, concern in his voice, what is this all about, alpha? i chose who i thoughtwould be strongest, you are still young. there is still time for you. I do love you, i love all my pock the same. I will always be your friend too, your guardian, never would i deliberately hurt you! He turned away, walked off deep into the reeds, the pool where he could wash away his troubles, this illness thats eemed to possess all. he hated being having someone dissapointed with him.

She turned round on the foot. She was fuming. You don't get it do you. she howled. You never understood. All those times i told you about my life, was a lie. I thought you of all people would know that. The last time i had a pack to care for i was in love i had someone to care for, just like i love you. she stutted at those words but they still came out it was fait, well it had to be out sooner or later. Like the night when i came to see you, when i said about the stars, well that was one thing i love in my old pack, knowing here would be someone out there for me just like those stars where. she was unhappy.
She moved on towards him. But i left, those times you might have heard a bush rustle or something i was there always. I was with the stars caring for them. Like when i met you i new it was my future to care for you. Forever. she pined. She lay down and rested her head on her paws.
