She wandered into the open plains. It wasn't like her to be curious, but she couldn't help it. Other wolves were near by, they may hurt her it this was there terra, but she wasn't bothered if they found her. She could talk her way out of most things before they got serious. She wandered round the out skirts, the plains backed on to her own terra, so she was pretty safe. Straying no more than 1 mile in. She could smell the strong sent of wolves, but wasn't about to turn and run, she wanted to see the opposition.

Another Fae had appeared, bordering the edge of his teritory. he was not far from where she was, a couple of hundered yards at the most. He stood up, and casually walked towards the Fae. He maintained his aura of authority, never letting his guard down for a second for faes could be the deadliest of opponents if provoked, and he pespected their power and grace. The other fae, had her back to him, and there was no way she could hear him for the rustling of the grass, and the birds masked his sound, and he stood downwind of her, so his scent could not reach her nostrils. he walked untill he was about a lope away from her and spoke. Hello.
He is the one who makes you belive you can fly...

She heard him speak but didn't turn round. Her heart seemed to race a thousand times faster than usual but soon returned to normal beat. She slowly turned around, she could sense he had no power. That would be her advantage, she could say practically anything she wanted. But this was still his land, and alphas seemed to have an unknown power of there own; she would have to be weary. The gods had only given her power for a certain amount of time, and it was running out fast. She would only have this advantage for a few more days. She spoke with curiousness, but at the same time keeping her guard up. Her voice didn't shake, it perfectly shimmed through the wind until it reached his ears. Hello

There was something different about this Fae, she had unknown power, deep within her very soul, but it was waning fast, he could sense it, it would only last a few more days at the most. He would have to be wary, however for she was almost desperate, and that could be deadly. Hello, he replied. My name is jet, i control these lands, what brings you to tread the oath of my many many forefathers and ancestors? He remained still, showing his authority, but also showing that he meant no harm, remaining in control. He wind rippled his black fur, his marks under his eyes showing briefly, for a split second, revealing his heritage as on of the true wolves, one of the old wolves, a protector of mother earth and its creatures. he waited patiently for her reply.

She stared at his eyes, hers never flickered from them. She had a bad feeling abut this but she kept calm. She was nervous and her body temperature dropped to ice cold. Her power showing through. Ice brushed the tips of her fur. Her eyes flickered cold from the chill. Shadows spread around them enclosing them in a circle of darkness. It wasn't supposed to be scary, but her powers were deeply affected by her mood; and right now she was willing for no other wolves to come, she felt she needed protection. I'm curious She spoke with a calm will and never quivered, she had to be strong, and wasn't sure how all the shadows and ice on her fur would affect him.

He watched the ice form on her fur, bemused. Her powers were new, she still did not have total conrol. he had mastered his, his powers overearth. Curious about what? he asked her. He had recently gained the power to heal, and he used it wisely. He sat, a sign that he meant no harm, but kept his head above hers, his tail erect. He was still alpha, she was not.If it was a display of power se wanted, thta was whta she would get. Beneath his paws the land began to shake, to tremble. more violently it shook, but he still did not flinch. Then the ground he sat on shot skywards and he not towered 5 feet above her, reagally, showing his power My curiosity is aroused too. i have heard may rumours about your pack. is it true your alpha has left you? for if it you are welcome to join mine in a postiotion of power

She watched him, power didn't impress her, nor did it scare her. To many times she had seen someone loose control. She didn't reply, she just turned and started to walk away the shadows disappearing in perfect transparency. She wasn't about to have a power match, or loose control of her own powers. He was obviously the type who liked to be clearly in control, and she couldn't be bothered to be around anyone like that right now. She continued to walk wondering if he would follow her, quite hoping that he would. She wanted to know what this male was like.

Her sheer disgust at his power was enough to bring his small mounf back to earth. he followed her as she walked away, intent on reconciling their relation ship. He wanted to know more about this fae, he was curious about her. he remoinde dhim of the time he was a pup, anmd when he had met the first fae he thought t=he would spaend the rest of his life with, but she had been caugth in a trap, her life abbing away with each pulse. He had stayed with her for three days, even though she had been long dead. He thought about her now, and how much this fae reminded him of her. It was why he was following her, tokeep her safe and to learn.

She heard him start to follow her, for some reason she was getting annoyed now. Not only did he have the cheek to try and prove how much power he had, now he was following her! This was getting out of hand. She didn't like one thing about him, his tone was all happy go lucky, to trusting, you didn't get anywhere in this world like that. Trust was a very big thing, and if you had to much of it, someone was bound to take advantage. Even though she was hoping he would follow her, she didn't think he would. It was his reaction that made her angry, even though she didn't know how she wanted him to react, probably anything would have annoyed her right now. It wasn't a good time to cross her. She spun round, staring directly at him. What on earth do you want!?!?! She shouted.

You should return to your pack, he said to the fae, for it was obvious to him that she was stubborn and therefore would not amuse his enquireies. She wasn't bothered about the message, and for gods sake she wasn't stupid. She could hear for her self, and she didn't need the help of a goody to shoes alpha to explain it to her. I can hear for my self you know, I'm not stupid. And for your information, even though this is really none of your business. I'm not particularly bothered. She wasn't bothered at all, she took everything as it came, and right now she was putting all her concentration on him. She took at step closer and looked him up and down, then looked straight into his eyes and waited.

She watched him walk away, she was kind of disappointed, he didn't seem to have much fight in him. And she was hoping for more of a reaction. She turned and trotted away, shadows materialized infront of her, she disappeared into the darkness. But she wasn't heading home, he had practically given her an invitation on to his land. He was the alpha and he wasn't much of a threat. Nothing frightened her, it sometimes got her into trouble, but she was still cautious. Her confidence made her brilliant, but sometimes shut out others who are only trying to be nice. She headed further into his territory, and she wasn't one bit bothered if he knew.
